Oktoberfest

Fri Oct 21, 2005, 11:07 AM

So yeah... Haven't been up to much recently. Went to London a few weeks ago with History... then ended up dropping it (yay!)
Still haven't bought a new camera so there'll be no updates from me for a long time! Well, photography anyway, might try doing more vectors or something.

Well, last time I told you I got a job and I have, and I love it it's so much fun. I work with the nicest people (apart from one miserable cow who I shall not name) and some of them have webbed toes! I worked yesterday and got double pay! Go me!
Also in the time since my last journal my iPod totally broke so I sent it back to Apple, 3 weeks later I got a replacement with the same problem... Sent that back on Friday and I'm now awaiting my new replacement iPod... Then when I get it it's going straight on eBay because I'm buying a 30gb video iPod. Yayness.

Well ~Salix02 has decided to tell you all she's singl, well I have no idea if I am, to be honest. Oh well, casual sex is fun :aww: And relationships just end up messy anyways...

I got drunk at ~Jamarle's house the other week too, ended up with my head down the toilet for 3 hours and missing work the next day. Kind of made a fool of myself and groped ~petit-chou-fleur's breast... *ahem*

School's not going too badly, getting a bit tough now though. I've just been set my first piece of coursework and after work tonight I've got to write an essay for sociology for my effort grade about a functionalist's view of education. Hopefully it won't take me too long because I wanna watch without a trace tonight! Missed half of it last week because I fell asleep!

Well I don't have long left to type because I have to have some food and then get ready for work, shame Hayley's not working today :( Yesterday we foudn a Wallace & Gromit torch in the shape of a carrot that looks slightly phallic... *ahem*

So yeah... that's about it really...

[Update] - Well, I'm single. And what a way to be told so, by email. I've been pretty depressed about it and mopey, it's just another thing I've fucked up. And the thing is there's nothig anyone can say to cheer me up because it actually was all my fault, me being such a stupid twat and all. And I just can't get over it, it's too hard. I'm just a weak person, I don't even see the point of me being here. Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky and catch bird flu.

I Got A Job

Sun Sep 11, 2005, 4:55 AM

Wooo! I now work at WH Smith in the White Rose Center, so if you're ever in Leeds drop in and say hi, I'll be working Saturday mornings and Weds/Thur evenings :)
And the GTA: Liberty City Stories site has been updated, I'm so glad I've now got a job so I can afford a PSP soon :aww:

And yes, this journal is pointless, it's just to get that damn passport photo off my page...

[Update] - I've now got the new Franz Ferdinand album :aww:

Maffoo The 6th Former

Fri Sep 2, 2005, 9:53 AM

Just had my first day of 6th form :) It was quite good. We had 2 assemblies lasting about 15 mins each, ont at 9 and one at 1:15. Between the two I just chilled in the common room and went on random strolls, I had a 2 minute "interview" confirming my options etc.
After ther last assembly we got to go home, but I randomly stuck aroudn with some freaks (~jazzman88, ~petit-chou-fleur, ~duveau23 & ~Salix02) talking to teachers and crap. For some reason my school has made a garden thing out of old tyers... Makes no sense at all...
So I got home and went for a new passport photo doing for my bus pass (I can finally get half fare again :D ) which didn't turn out too badly. The first attempt I was looking up... rather freaky-deakey. I'll show you.

Aaaaah! Anyway, I'm back in school full time starting Monday, tomorrow I'm going shopping and to see The 40 Year Old Virgin and a party at night, I'll try not to get too drunk, the Blackpool mob will be there so no promises...

Bleh...

Sun Aug 28, 2005, 12:59 PM

Well this was gonna be an upbeat journal until a few minutes ago when two people who I considered friends, well, one and the other just backed her up, decided to rub how much better they are in my noses and just generally get me down again. Yes, I know I live a shit life and I rarely get anything that is good quality, so when you get a new camera and rub it in my face that isn't very nice is it. Neither is telling me I don't "need" a new camera just because it's better than yours. Well the last time I checked I've been active on here since April 5th last year and all that time I've been craving for good tools, I get Photoshop which is a start then I get a relatively good camera to go with it. When that breaks why shouldn't I get a high-quality one? Just because yours isn't better than mine, just because it's something you can't rub in my face because my version's crap. So go back to your big house and sit with your loving family, don't give a second thought for me living with an alcoholic parent who couldn't care less about what happens in my life and sitting in this room that, in winter, almost turns me blue!

Fucking hell!

Right, now that rant's over... I was in Blackpool this weekend, and last time I was there I got drunk. Really drunk. I almost died :aww: But this time I stayed on alcopops and stayed sober. And I got some new friends... Woo :) It was all great fun until Nikita decided to drop my camera on the floor, now it's irreperable. Well, I can use it to take extremely close Macro shots, literally a few millimeters away from the lens... The optical lens broke off :( But I got a few shout from the party before it broke :) So have a look at a few :)

Oh, and incase you didn't read the first rant; my camera broke. Nikita (the blonde above) dropped it on the floor and the optical lens fell out... There's a pic of the aftermath here. [link] So don't expect any new deviations until I get my new camera. I'm getting a Nikon Coolpix 7600 Black eventually  :aww:

GCSE RESULTS!

Thu Aug 25, 2005, 10:18 AM

WOOOOOOOO! I didn't fail anything! I got 8 A's in total, 4 for ICT, 2 for science, 1 for maths and 1 for English language (which I'm genuinely shocked at) and I got 2 B's for English literature, business studies and history :)

I'm so happy. My family and friends are proud of me and have shown support, and the likes of this is totally unknown to me, I've never felt happiness like this... Especially since I had 2 nightmares last night and woke up feeling sick at 5am...
